What Causes Shakiness When Hungry?

I am 30 years old, female. I got half of my thyroid removed but don't have to take any medications because my thyroid hormone levels are supposed to be normal. recently, I started to get shaky every time I get hungry. Do you think it might have something to do with my thyroid or is it related to diabetes. No one in my family has diabetes.
