What Causes Severe Swelling In The Left Hand?

I have had severe hand swelling on my left hand without injury. No bug bites, bruises or trauma. It lasted 3 days then I awoke with my left ankle swollen. My ankle has returned to normal but not my hand. It has gone down a lot. It looked like it would pop ! Like a baseball glove for a few days.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely insect bite reaction. If you send a picture of the swelling then it will be more helpful. Taking antihistamines like cetirizine and applying calamine lotion will be helpful. If no improvement then a short course of steroid like methyl prednisolone can be taken.
Thanks.
