What Causes Severe Stomach Pain After Taking Lactulose?
I have a 9 yr old with chronic constipation problems. She has a complicated medical history due to tethered cord syndrome. She has been taking lactulose 15 ml daily for a few months and is now complaining of stomach hurting primarily in the lower abdominal area. Could this be a side effect of the lactulose and what are the side effects of lactulose?
