What Causes Severe Stomach Ache, Fever And Gas?
my husband suddently developed horrible pains in upper stomach area........no fever or vomiting then, Then suddenly a fever developed so had 2 panado and 1 buscopan...............now in bed trying to sleep but all the time annoyed with almost constant burping.

Looking at history it seems to be a case of acute cholecystitis which means sudden inflammation of gall bladder
In my opinion you should take him to a doctor for battery of tests including an ultrasound
a course of antibiotics with tab pantoprazole to given for immediate relief
it may require a surgery that depends upon ultrasound report
