What Causes Severe Rectal Bleeding When Diagnosed With Diverticulosis?

I was diagnosed with Diverticula s disease, about 7 years ago, I am only 37, female, English, healthy and eat well. I have had quite a few fare up s with infections, bleeding, etc. Last October to December, I was in and out of hospital. I had a colonoscopy, which showed seven pockets of diverticula. Since then, I have had four/five rectum bleeds, the current one, being particular bad, has almost lasted for nearly two weeks. The hospital I am under has said to turn up, when these bleeds happen, but unfortunately, I have been unable to get there. Is bleeding for this amount of time serious? I do not feel great, but ok. Just very bloated, tired, sore on the left had side & passing gas frequently.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the condition being diagnosed for the diverticulosis then it need to be managed accordingly in my opinion the amount of bleeding is not the criteria for managing the condition but it need to be managed well in case of just bleeding, once hope this information helps.
