General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic

Hot inflamed red swollen skin could be cellulitis, which is inflammtion of.skin. Diabetic patients are at increased risk of developing such infection.
Physical examination and blood culture can.confirn the diagnosis. Early initiation with antibiotics is important

Please be advised to follow up with urgent care for appropriate management.

Hope this answers your question
