What Causes Severe Pain In Upper Abdomen Along With Difficulty Breathing?
Last night after drinking vodka I had sever pain in my upper abdomen, it was so intense breathing was difficult. I then threw up and the pain continued for about an hour. This is the second time in a few weeks that this has happened. What could cause this?

The stomach is in the upper abdomen and alcohol can be associated with gastritis (irritation and inflammation of the stomach).
This may be the reason for the reaction when alcohol is used. You may want to consider imaging such as barium meal or endoscopy if it continues.
