Hi. I am a 26 y/o female with a 1 wk hx of Right upper abdominal pain (up under ribs). It is sudden, stabbing, and inconsistent. It normally happens about the same time after a meal every day. Sometime the pain is even referred to my shoulder and chest area. The first time it happened I thought I was having a heart attack. It died down before I could get to a doctor. I m sure this has something g to do with my gallbladder. I m just not sure if this is an emergent situation or if this will go away after a few days. No fever. Lower abdominal cramping due to diarrhea. Stool is not discolored. Thank you!
