I am suffering with severe nerve pain in my sciatic nerve; to the point I can no longer walk upright. At the er a Dr. Gave me a injection of gabapentin and it did help for a little while. But throwing soon returned full force and is shutting down my life. What can I do
Sciatic pain is really a strong pain that will limit your movement. Gabapentin shot helped. Should discuss with neurologist to prescribe gabapentin to take to reduce the pain in the following days.
Stronger analgesics should be prescribed if still no improvement. The last treatment choice is surgery. However, follow neurologist advice rigorously first.
Wish fast recovery.
