What Causes Severe Pain In The Rectum?

My problem started out with lower stomach cramping and frequent urination, then progressed to slight rectal pain. No problem with cramping or urination but now painful rectum with lots of pressure on rectum, somedays so bad that I can't sit down. I am 54 years, this has been going on for two months.

hello. these is a serious problem and you must do a rectoscopy to exclude a tumor. You can have also hemorrhoids but the tumor must be excluded
