What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Right Abdomen?

I have been having severe abdominal pain that began 5 days ago. It is much better now but there is still discomfort in the lower right abdomen-pelvic area. The pain started as very severe and included the area below the belly button and radiated to the right side. Now it is a more dull ache just on the very low right side. What could this be?

Hi.! There are hardly two or three possibilities in such cases of right iliac fossa pain., as per our clinic record as follows.     :

1. Recurrent appendicitis
2. Infection in cecum or right colon
3.endometriosis or ovarian pathology in females

You all need is a physical examination with empty stomack anf urinary bladder and ultrasound and if necessary urine stool examination. Therefore please see a surgeon and do not delay.

Regards
