What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

so my husband came inside of me on 09/03/17 & 09/04/17. i was suppose to start my period on 09/04/17 but it was 8 days late & didn’t start until 09/12/17 & lasted until 09/16/17. my period is very regular. but then on 09/27/17 i was spotting and then again on 10/03/17. and then today 10/08/17 i had the worst cramps i’ve ever experienced. but it only lasted an hour or so, but if you push down on my lower abdominal area it hurts. i took a pregnancy test today & it said i wasn’t pregnant.. what is wrong with me? could i be pregnant?

Hello,

I can understand your concern. One irregular period is not that much of a concern. It can be due to stress or any hormonal imbalance.. Urine pregnancy test can take some time to become positive, your symptoms donot suggest pregnancy. But in case you are still worried about pregnancy, kindly repeat the urine test or get a Serum Beta Hcg(blood test). Blood test gets positive earlier than the urine test.
Along with these kindly get and Ultrasound Abdomen and pelvis to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.
For pain, you can take meftal spas.
