What Causes Severe Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

Hello my name is Rachelle and I just had my TRA and TVU results read yesterday with my OB/GYN and is stated that I have nabothian cysts and that the myometrial echotexture was unremarkable. What does that mean? I am still having severe ovary pain and the ultrasound comes out normal, how can this be? Is there an underlying issue that the tests are no picking up? I still want my ovaries removed.

General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hello, my name is Dr Olgeta Xhufka. I understand your concern. Nabothian cysts do not give abdominal pain. They are formed in colum . Your uterus seems normal. Sometimes is endometriosis that causes severe abdominal pain especially before and during menstruation. It is mostly not detected by ultrasound.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
