What Causes Severe Pain In The Legs When Diagnosed With Restless Legs Syndrome?
I am suffering from severe pain in my legs. I was diagnosed with RLS, however the medicine prescribed does not help. I am up most nights walking around in pain. It seems to be both RLS and joint pain. Can you help me to describe this to my doctor as they are not sure what it is.

Restless leg syndrome is uncontrollable urge to move legs , causing sleep disturbance & it affects quality of life.
Joint pain is inflammation & painful joints.. which predisposes a patient to restless syndrome.In such case treatment of joint pain & few life style changes to improve sleep pattern help.
So you can tell your doctor about restless syndrome & also joint pains while moving. .. he will draw an inference to a treatment regime for you.
