What Causes Severe Pain In The Hip Joint?

I had two bug bitesjust above the knee. First thought it was fire ants but was t because festered whit spot did not occur. The bite were red, swollen and painful. A couple of days later I had pain around the knee that I worried might be a clot. Then started severe pain in the hip joint of the same leg. Started running low grade fever. Also felt like lymph nodes at neck were swollen.. Pain continued to my back and severe headache. Swelling is going down in bite marks but bites sting whenever fabric brushes against them! Taking pain mess. Headache is more severe at night when I m in reclining position.

General & Family Physician 's  Response

I would recommend you see your physician A.S.A.P. What you are describing sounds a lot like an infected wound. It is very important that the wound is cultured and blood tests are done so you could be prescribed the right antibiotic.
