I am a 51 white female. I currently had C4-C7 fused do to degeneration and herniated dics pushing. I have experienced a lot of pain from this procedure. It has been decided after trying multiple medication i would have a permanent pain stimulator put in my back. Now I am having a lot of grow pain that causes my legs to gets very bad cramps. I no longer have a menstrual cycle. I feel like I am having a baby in my pelvic area. I often have to use a cane to assist me is walking. It wakes me up a night and takes awhile to go away. I was taking Nucynta, but it caused me to have weird affects. I did have an MRI of the bone structure and I was fine. Today, I had a MRI with contract to look at the muscles and tissues. Any clues of what this might be.
I have studied your case. Due to compression of nerve root there is pain in your pelvis.
I will advise you to do MRI spine. For these symptoms analgesic and neurotropic medication can be started. Till time, avoid lifting weights, Sit with support to back. You can consult physiotherapist for help. Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief. I will advise to check your vit B12 and vit D3 level.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
