General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Looking to the history she might be having pinched nerve pressure producing sciatica pain with stiffness of muscles.
As she is diabetec, there might be having peripheral neuritis as well.
Ask her to go for physiotherapy, short way diathermy.
Give her B1, B6, B 12 medicines.
Give her calcium, vitamine D and A supplements.
Advice her to go for slow walking exercises daily.
Ok and take care.
