What Causes Severe Pain Around Abdomen During Ovulation?
I m having a lot of pain when ovulation occurs. I went shopping today and couldn t even walk at a point it had got so bad. It s very sharp pains. They eventually come back then go away all of a sudden. I have a history of adhesions. I was actually very sick for awhile, then when they went to take out my gallbladder I had adhesions so bad it was wrapping around my gallbladder. I am a 26 year old female 124 lbs 5 3 . The pains never really go away just get to where I can stand it a couple times a day, other then that this pain is annoying. I had a c-section 2013.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Ovulation may be associated with pain, however, the pain is not severe or sharp. It is mild discomfort on the side of ovulation. Other causes of sharp abdominal pain also need to be investigated. You have mentioned a history of adhesions, thus this possibility also needs to be ruled out to find out the cause of abdominal pain. Thus, I suggest you to consult a surgeon for clinical assessment and relevant investigations to determine the cause of symptoms.
