What Causes Severe Pain And Swelling In The Knee?

Dr My dad 61yrs went for a Europe tour after returning suffering very badly with severe knee Pain swelling and hotness in knee seen all dr rhematology, ortho, Cardio, Gastro all drs tried all medicens all reports are normal expect little colon infection but knee pain suffering too much litrally weeps confused what to do please suggest

short answer : your knee pain and swelling may be due to small tendon or ligament injury
detailed answer:
knee pain due to ligament and small tendon injuries are easily missed and is hard to diagnose as it is not clearly visualized in xrays. i suggest you to take MRI of your knees. and i advice to keep rest with cold application in the affected knee and elastic creep bandage application in the afffected knee to restrict movement. you can use nsaids for releiving the pain. please review with your MRI results
