Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes please. I am having extreme burning and pain (left elbow). Wakes me all night. Can not put it straight. Some would call it tennis elbow, but I don t play nor do I exercise. Six months ago I asked my Pain Management Doctor for relief and he gave me some type of injection (not sure if it was steroids,he referred to the injection as a trigger point). What matters is the severe pain and burning was gone in a day and lasted only 5 to 6 months. It s back, worse than ever for last 2 months or more and I know I should get a diagnosis before letting him do a second injection. Is an MRI in order and what else do u think?? Thank u. Christine/NJ
