What Causes Severe Pain And Bruise In Knees?

I have been having pain and bruising in both knees for a while now. And recently when I sit and cross my legs or sit with them bent, it is extremely painful to move them and straighten my knee back out and I can t walk on it at first. What can it be? It bruised a couple of weeks ago and was tender and painful and I could feel something weird when feeling around it, and I feel a lot of pressure around my knee cap sometimes as well.

i have gone through your query and being your physician I completely understand your health concerns....
What is your age? And sex? Are u suffering from any diabetes or hypertension? Any bleeding disorder? Any history of trauma? Any history of fever? Any other systemic symptoms like burning micturation? Any small joint pains and morning stiffness?
Based upon your history it is difficult to comment however it appears to be a osteoarthritis of knees but you need to be examined fully and investigated by a RHEUMTOLOGIST for definitive diagnosis...you may need to get an x ray of knees along with MRI too....
Meanwhile take rest and do icing on knees and use acetaminophen to relieve pain
