What Causes Severe Pain Above Waistline?

I m a male who has been having pain on right side above waistline, started a few days ago as a tender area with dull pain, two days ago went to severe pain while walking, went to ER had ct scan and urinalysis, showed some fecal matter in bowel, I had no fever no other symptoms, was given stool softeners, pain pills and muscle Relaxers , pain is still there 3 days later, what could this b and whatother tests should I have?

I have studied your case.
I will advise liver function test as right side pain can due liver disease.
You may need clinical examination and further investigation like blood test and repeat ultrasound.
If not relieved then endoscopic evaluation will be required.
Till time take easy to digest food and drink plenty of water.
