What Causes Severe Nosebleeds,dizziness And Headache?
My 10 year old son has real bad nosebleeds, after they stop he becomes extremely dizzy and has horrible headaches. He s used Bactroban and an antibiotic and nothing helps. We ve had his blood pressure check and has even had a MI on his head. Can you PLEASE lead me in the correct direction on what to do next or what I can do to help my son. Thanks!!

I share your concerns about your son. Most Common cause of nose bleed is local, within nose only. It may be due to deviated nasal bone, infections in nose, polyps in nose or sinuses. In some cases it could be from skull or brain too. It comes through the roof of nose . In some cases even bleeding disorders may be responsible for this. You need to follow the following to help your son in better way
1 firstly get an opinion of ENT specialist. Because in my opinion the cause lies in nose. A thorough examination, nasal endoscopy and x ray are required to come to a diagnosis.
2 if ENT is clear then visit a neurosurgeon, as it is second possibility.
3 if still, no cause can be found, visit an haematologist to identify some blood disorders.
Meanwhile keep giving him good food with iron rich diet like coarse cereals, Green vegetables, jaggery or iron tablets or syrup.
