What Causes Severe Menstrual Cramps In The Pelvic Area During Menopause?
Hello, I am healthy, 52 years old and post menopausal. I occasionally get these very sharp, cramp-like pains located in the area of my uterus (approx.). These pains are so sharp they cause me to double over. It feels as though my uterus is being torn out. Prior to these pains coming on, I experience feelings of what I can only described as menstrual cramps. These episodes of vaginal pain often occur after I have evacuated my bowels (which are often constipated).
this is normal menopausal syndrome. it is due to change of hormonal status. there will be psychological andphysical problem. you have to tolerate and over come the problem or go for hormonal supplement after consultation with gynecologist more water and fiber rich food. take bland diet and avoid fast food.
