What Causes Severe Itching On The Hands?

My hands often begin to itch significantly. There is no redness, no irritation, no outward sign of why they should itch. It is intense and lasts sometimes up to several minutes. The itch is worst on the palms of the hands but is also between the fingers. There is no apparent reason for this. Any ideas/suggestions?

Good day and thank you for posting this question. Sorry about your hand. Probably you are allegiance to something and if I were your doctor I will try to find it out. It could be at the place of work ( if you work with chemicals) or in the house. You can use Loratadine for the itching.
