What Causes Severe Irritation, Itching And Dryness In Vagina During Pregnancy?

I have had severe irritations of the vaginal area including itching and dryness in the past week, I have also noticed that there are small patches of rough bumpy skin inside my vagina, I am 35 weeks pregnant and a little worried. What could this be from?

1) This is due to hormonal changes occurring during pregnancy.

2) You might need estrogen cream. Please see your gynecologist and get examined.
