What Causes Severe Intermittent Abdominal Pain?
I am having severe intermittent abdominal pain.always have some discomforting stomach area but when at its worse, covers my whole tummy are from under beasts to above belly buttom. Has a tightening in chest and abdominal are and causes a shortness of breath and painful when trying to get my breath. What could this be ?

Intermittent abdominal pain may be due to many causes like gall bladder calculus,renal calculus,acid reflux etc.
You may need clinical examination and investigations like routine hemogram,random blood sugar,liver function test,renal function test,lipid profile,chest X-ray (PA view),ECG in all leads,TMT,upper GI endoscopy,ultrasound of abdomen.
Ultrasound of abdomen is very important and it can exclude many causes.
Further requirement of investigations depend on above basic investigations.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.
