What Causes Severe Headache?

I have severe headache. It used to be very bad like a stabbing pain in the back of the eyeballs. To some extent this pain had come down. Again it has started now and it is just below the eyebrow, onesided, stabbing pain lasting for atleast three days followed by mild pain for a few more days. I am a 43 year old female. I get these pains after the menstrual cycle, when i take certain foods, when there is fog, when i go out in the hot sun, in a crowded place, while travelling even by train, due to dust allergy also. Now after december has started off it has become very painful. Please help me

So according to history provided with all symptoms like severe headache stabbing character,behind eye ball pain and sometimes pain aggravates during menstruation.
All above symptoms is suggestive of migrain type of headache.
In such cases i usually prescribe pain killers to start with and if symptoms persist after some weeks then will prescribe them anti migrain medications.
So my suggestion is to take an appointment of nearby physician for further management and treatment.
