What Causes Severe Headache And Rashes On Arms And Back?

For the past week i have had severe headaches like migraines, sensitivity to light especially sunlight, skin rash on arms, back and shoulders, unexplained bruising, shortness of breath not caused by asthma or other sources, hot and cold flashes, diarrhea, stomach cramping after meals, blisters on hands and feet especially on fingers and toes, achy ears, inflamed chest wall, nausea, vomiting, dry scaly itchy skin, pimple like sores on bottom of breasts and side of neck and armpits that bleed scab and start over, hair loss, extreme fatigue. I have been to five different doctors and none of them can figure out what is going on. pulse ox says my oxygen is at 97 but i feel as if i am having a hard time catching my breath. my daughter has also started developing a rash similiar to mine. we are having a problem with field mice coming into the house. could it be some type of hantavirus? we also have bedbugs we can t seem to get rid of, could this be the cause? there is a family history of type 1 and type 2 diabetes as well as several different forms of heart disease. if you could give me a little bit of a clue as to what it is or could possibly be it would be greatly appreciated. thank you very much. Sincerely, Racheal Horrocks

Hello and welcome to HCM,
On the basis of multiple symptomatology, I am of the opinion that you should get investigations for systemic lupus erythmatosus (SLE).
SLE is an autoimmune systemic disorder.
SLE involves multiple organs like nervous system (headache), skin (sensitivity to sunlight), respiratory system (shortness of breath), hematological system (easy bruisibility), etc.
Fatigue is non-specific and can accompany any chronic disease.
SLE is an autoimmune disease and you have history of auoimmune diseases in family i.e. Diabetes mellitus type 1.
I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider and get investigations for SLE which include ANA and dsDNA antibodies.
Treatment for SLE is immunosuppresant therapy.

Thanks and take care
