Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The BP range is 100 to 140 mm Hg systolic and 60 to 90 mm Hg diastolic. Usually, in younger age BP is on the lower side of the range. As age advances, we tend to have a slightly higher BP. However, even at 65 years ideally it should be 130/80 mm Hg. But even in 140/90 mm Hg also no drug treatment is advised. Only lifestyle change is quite helpful. The BP reading mentioned is absolutely normal. As regards one sided headache, when it is severe, there can be engorgement of temporal vessels and pulsation may be felt. This happens in migraine, other severe headaches as well as in vascular headaches. A combination of either Diclofenac and Paracetamol or Ibuprofen and Paracetamol should help in reducing the headache. But if it is migraine, then specific antimigraine treatment may have to be initiated with drugs like Sumatriptan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhakar Laxman Jathar
