General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The symptoms you present could be caused by many medical conditions some of which are:
-Sepsis probably of digestive or urinary origin(Digestive infection or UTI).A blood/stool culture and sensitivity tests, urinalysis will be helpful here.
-Taking an Ipill means you had a risky/unprotected sexual exposure.Early menses if it never flowed normally but was rather spotting will need to be investigated with a pregnancy test as physiologic changes with pregnancy can also give those symptoms.Emergency contraceptive pills when taken early enough are very effective but efficiency not 100%.
-Also, risky sexual exposure predisposes you to having a PID/STI.These may also give you that presentation. An STI work-up will be needed too.
In all, there are many diagnostic hypotheses.I will suggest you see a Doctor for examination and work-ups.You may need work-ups like: a full blood count, blood/stool culture/sensitivity, urinalysis, pregnancy test, vaginal swap test and other STI work-ups.In the meantime, a pain/antipyretic medication like paracetamol may help you feel better.
Hope my answer will help you
Wish you a quick recovery.
