What Causes Severe Fluctuations In Heart Beat?

Please type your query here..hi i am wondering why when i go to sleep at night my heart beat is very slow to the point my wife checks to see if i am still alive, and when i go to wake up i have a hard time catching up to a normal heart beat pace i am wondering what could be wrong i know this is not normal.

sir ..as a routine thing the pulse rate dips at night but there is not much variation as more than 10- 15 ...so kindly get your BP checked .and ECG done ....if it is ok ..please go for holter monotoring to see that upto what are range of variations in pulse rate ...holter is a simple recording of ECG for 24 hours
