What Causes Severe Ear Ache And Jaw Pain?

Hi, I have a severe ear ache, I can barely move my jaw without hurting on that side. I have been on amoxicillin for almost 24 hours but I don't notice a difference. should I be concerned? The jaw joint doesn't look or feel very swollen but it is very painful, more so than the ear (unless I touch it).

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The difficulty in mouth opening and pain in the jaw joint can be because of the disc displacement in the jaw joint. This can happen secondary to trauma, bruxism, or stress. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take tablet piroxicam. Do not open your jaw too wide, take soft diet. You can give hot fomentation over the jaw joint.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
