What Causes Severe Cramps With History Of Diverticulitis?

Hi, my mother has diverticulitis and she has had 3 days of big time cramps. She is noticing that regulalr milk bothers her. Can you tell me if lactaid milk is ok if she has diverticulitis? Also, where can I find a list of foods to avoid. Thank you. Pauline

Best way to find list of avoidable foods is on world wide web i.e. Net. If regular milk bothers her, best way is do not give that.

Lactaid is better tolerated in diverticulitis. However, diverticulum may be removed surgically immediately if it is bothering.
