What Causes Severe Cough With Fluctuating BP?

my blood pressure has been running 158/75 to 189/95 for the last couple of weeks. I have never been on blood pressure medication,in fact I am not on any medications. Heart rate normally runs 55-60 and is now 77-78. I feel kind of in a daze, but I do have have some coughing, maybe bronchitis.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
If there is no previous history Of Hypertension and now you are suffering from coughing and bronchitis, it may increase the Systolic blood pressure.
The same thing can cause to increase the pulse rate.
I would advise you the following:
Consult your PCP or a Family Physician get clinical evaluation, investigations like PFT, X-ray of the chest and other investigations, get the cough well treated and see, most probably your Blood Pressure readings will be normal and everything will settle well.
