What Causes Severe Anxiety And Panic Attacks?

I have had a complete historectomy 4 years ago. Went, & still on Sotto pelle hormone replacement. A year after that surgery I had to have my thyroid removed due to the start of cancer in it. My body went through 100% of all of the proestogen, & estrogen in a 3 month time span. (Normally took 5-6 months). Had to have an emergency implant of them 2 weeks back. Since then I now am having panic/ansxty attacks. From there I have night sweats, nightmares, hot flashes, & can only sleep no more than 2 hours before waking. What can be causing this? It s got me scared. In the past I always felt amazing after an injection. I called my OGyN, & was told that s not normal, & to seek help. I called my ear nose & throat doc , but was informed by hospital he had retired. So I called my cancer doc, & filled nurse in. I requested an appointment. Can you please give me some kind of insight as to what it can be. I m a single mother, who just closed on a loan for a home. Again I am very worried. Never have I suffered like this in all my history of this. Please help. I am 42 years old.

Hello,
I really hope you have been feeling better.
Anxiety and panic attack is commonly seen now a days amongst middle and young aged people.
Going through your history, looks like you have undergone a couple of challenges reagarding various health issues.
Also, due to hysterectomy and thyroid gland removal, there are a lot of hormonal changes that your body has undergone. Hormones too have a huge role to play in anxiety and mood swings.
I am sure apart from all this you have been worrying about your little one which is obvious.
All this is making anxiety and panic attacks worse.
I would suggest you to see a suitable doctor and start appropriate medication so that you are relieved from anxiety.
Practicing daily meditation makes a huge difference.

I hope you get absolutely perfect soon.
All the best to you for a quick recovery. Lots of love to your child.
