What Causes Severe Anxiety After Stopping Ativan Intake?
I take generic form of Ativan. I have taken this medication for 25 years and never increased dosage but my doctor decided to cut me off cold turkey. I go sometimes 2 days without sleep. My anxiety has really worsened. Should I have been weened off?

It should have been reduced gradually over the weeks or even months and now I suggest to start with ativan again or some other medication and decrease dosage over the time.
