What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain,diarrhea And Vomiting?
My grandson has been having sores in his moth followed by severe abd pain. diarrhea and vomiting, severe joint pain for 7 years each time it happens it gets worse. Dr have told him it is emotional. For one week it has been so svere he is in agony day and night but refused to go to Dr because they always tell him the same thing. He got so dehydrated I had him taken to Er they did Scan said his intestines are severely swollen. they are doing a battery of test and have him sedated. what might be the problem?

Such a long history with episodic aggravation of gastrointestinal and joint may be a feature of inflammatory bowel disease.
He need an expert evaluation by a gastroenterologist .
May require work up including endoscopy.
