What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain?

I have a dr apt tomorrow, but am trying to decide if I should go to the emergency room tonight. I ve had uti in the past and bladder infections but this feels much different than that. the pain is severe in my lower right abdomen and back. it has gotten progressively worse in the last few hours. I ve suddenly developed a case of diarrhea...and I don t know if it s a kidney infection. appendicitis, or something else. my dr is a country dr that hasn t been real knowledgable and helpful with other medical conditions I have .what are your thoughts. I; m 41 female.. ask what you need to if you need more info.i cant afford this i m on ssi and ssdi

HI.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
The most probable cause of such a pain in right power abdomen and back with the known history of UTI in the past and sudden development of diarrhea are :
Appendicitis as the most probable cause.
Severe intestinal infection can also cause same things.
Infection in the right kidney or a stone in the ureter - but less likely to give diarrhea.

I would advise you the following:
Rush to ER to check for the vitals and to get urgent ultrasonography, blood and urine checked to get an idea so that further steps and decisions can be taken fast.
A course of antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotic ans symptomatic treatment should solve the problem,
IF no relief further investigations and specialist's opinion can be sought.
