What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With IBS?

I am a 50 year old female. Yesterday I started having severe pain in my upper abdomen and it is now also on the right side of my abdomen. Today I have noticed that I am extremely tender if palpated and any type of movement is painful. My stomach seems to be somewhat swollen/distended and is very rigid/hard. I have had a diagnosis of IBS for many years, gluten intolerant/celiac disease, and I have had my gall bladder removed 15 years ago. Until yesterday my bowel movements have been normal although I do not always have one daily so its not strange for me not to have one everyday. I have not eaten anything that is not in my regular diet so I don t think it has anything to do with gluten. I have been constipated before but this does not feel anything like that and the pain is severe. Plus now any movement is painful, heat seems to give me a little comfort but not much. Any ideas of what I may be looking at?

I really appreciate your concern, abdomen pain is challenging for physician because abdomen cavity contains many vital organ and they can be damaged with infection trauma, and other, but equally it can be affected with psychological disease like anxiety and depression and IBS is among them which is very pretty common condition, If you have not done the tests then it is advisable to get done the concern test like ultrasonography, and other imaging studies, till then condition can be managed with Clinidium with Chlordiazepoxide tablet three times in day hope this information helps.
