Hello,

I really appreciate your concern, the confirmed case of typhoid should be given highly sensitive drug and nowadays Cefixime, Cefotaxime, Fluoroquinolone are the drug of choice but important is the diagnosis. Miss diagnosed is danger for the patient even the wrong drug could cause the complication better to have the second opinion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
