What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain Around The Navel?

My stomach near the vicinity of my belly button really hurst when I get out of bed in the morning, when I am getting out of my car to stand up. Was told some years ago that I had a hernia. I can push my belly and it seems to disappear temporarily. After getting up I have to walk with my upper body looking down towards the floor until the pain seems to go away. What can I do for this. I take Omeraprozel each day for acid refluxl. Thanks! Joe

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

Noted you have reducible hernia....
You are saying it's painful....

Let me know you as your hernia is painful it can be complicated....
You have not mentioned detail about your hernia whether it is inguinal or femoral type.
Had you consulted surgeon???

You should consult surgeon and better to operate it simply with laproscopy hernia repair with meshplasty....

Take care.
