What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain And Vomiting While On Azithromycin?

My 16 year old daughter was prescribed Azithromycin 500mg. She was told to take 2 tablets for one dose. She was only give 2 tablets. She took the dose on Tuesday July 19th. Today she woke up with severe abdominal pain and vomiting. Is this a side effect of the medicine she took on Tuesday?

yes...it is side effect of the azythromycin..
azythromycin causes severe stomach pain , vomiting, diaeehoes ,nausea..etc
so dont worry it will resolve as drug will excreted from body.
