What Causes Severe Abdomen Pain, Swelling And Headache?
I flew back from spain yesterday at 3 am- on the way home I had severe abdominal pain and swelling and headaches. When I reached home, I then had about 24 hours of diarrhea. I took immodium and paracetamol. The diarrhea has now ceased but the abdominal pain and trapped wind has persisted severely for my second sleepless night.
Do you have any ideas on whaty caused this and how I could treat it? I'm finding it difficult to walk with the pain. I have eaten only one small sandwich in 36 hours and some water and rehydration sachets.

paracetamol is o.k. But immodium will stop the motility of intestines.so the cotents remain in intestines and give rise to abdominal pain and swelling. head ache is due to bacteriai infection of intestines, leading to fever and headache.can be treated by o floxacillin 200 mg bd for 3 days.
