hi I have very sensitive scalp, my hair is coming out and it is very sore on the side of my temples which is the area where I see bald spots of my heir breaking and coming out, I do have seborriac dermatitis but not sure if I should be worried I can barely at times comb my hair or even run my finger through my hair do to the soreness in some areas and I shed like a cat.
Hello Dear. That red, itchy rash on your scalp that has flaky scales could be seborrheic dermatitis, or seborrhea. It's a common skin disease that looks similar to psoriasis, eczema, or an allergic reaction. And it can appear on your body as well as your scal. It can cause hair fall. Generally seen in infants, but can also occur in adults. Adults with seborrheic dermatitis on their scalp can use an over-the-counter dandruff shampoo that contains one of these key ingredients:
Other reasons for hair fall can be familial or hereditary. You can consult a dermatologist in this case, who may prescribe biotin containing tablets like follihair and minoxidil solution to be applied to scalp on a regular basis. In some people it gives excellent results.
