General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
The swellings on the back of the tongue are called lingual tonsils and are present in all people. They get enlarged if get infected. These are not warts or anything like these.
Get an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory treatment and you will be fine.
These may not cause dysphagia unless very much enlarged.
Hence you have to undergo Pharyngoscopy and upper GI Endoscopy and Barium swallow test to rule out or confirm the diagnosis.
