General & Family Physician 's  Response
Usually, semen discharge does not take place during urination. Sometimes, before or after urination it occurs. This is mainly because of enlarged prostate due to prostatitis, as has been diagnosed in your case. It is not semen proper, but more of fluid from prostate gland which looks like semen.
Don't be disheartened. Please consult a Urologist to overcome this problem.
