What Causes Runny Nose, Sore Throat, Tiredness And Diarrhea?

started with runny nose, and sore throat, was tired and slept a bit more than usual, then came diarrhea, 4 days worth. still loose, cant sleep , sleep sitting up cause can t breath good cough alot. phlegm and nasal little bloody think possibly phnemunoia?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of runny nose, sore throat, tiredness and diarrhea which is due to upper respiratory infection due to poor immunity of your body. It seems to be due to electrolyte imbalance in body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to avoid use of spicy, sharp oily and fried food substances. Apply mist humidifiers in room. You should take throat soothing agents. You should take combination of antibiotic Levofloxacin along with antihistamine such as Levocetirizine. You should avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get chest x-ray done along with pulmonary function tests done so as to detect level of infection and treatment can be started accordingly. You should take cough expectorants. You should do warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day.
