What Causes Runny Nose And Nasal Congestion Along With Watery Eyes?

I am an Iowan here in Fl. For a couple months and this year I have had a constant daily issues with allergy symptoms, clear runny and congested nasal, watery eyes and sneezing consistently often. Other than seeing an Allergist, what best options will give me the most relief. Best over-the-counter meds? Thank you.

All the symptoms you have mentioned suggest the possibility of allergic rhinitis also known as "hay fever".
I suggest you to consult a general practitioner and get the following things done:
1.Antihistamines are the most commonly prescribed drugs to control your symptoms. Levocetrezine or loratidine can be tried.
2.Intranasal steroid sprays are used to control symptoms like sneezing, rhinorrhea, and nasal congestion.
3.You can also try nasal decongestants like xylometazoline in case of blocked nostrils.
4.Basic blood investigation and special test like "patch test" may be needed to find out the particular substance is causing the allergy.

You can also try the following preventive measures:-
1.Quit smoking and try to avoid second hand smoke.
2.Keep pets outside as much as possible.
3.Keep away from dust mites.
4.Avoid being in polluted places for prolonged periods
