What Causes Round Bruises On Abdomen, Legs And Back?

a friend of mine has round bruises on her abdomen legs and back but they do not hurt. They start out blue in color but then turn yellow. one doctor said it was a reaction to prilaseck but it has been over a year. she does not take the prilaseck anymore

Hi.
As per your case history your friend is probably having purpuric rashes.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are topical steroid, oral multivitamins taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
